Before Your First Visit
What to Bring, What to Wear, What to Expect
Plan to arrive 15 minutes early to complete intake. Bring a photo ID, your insurance card, a current medication list, and any recent records, imaging, or labs related to your wound.Wear loose-fitting clothing that gives easy access to the area being treated. Expect a thorough first visit — history, exam, photos, and a clear plan you'll leave with.
After Your Visit
Care Between Appointments
Good home wound care follows the plan: keep the dressing clean and dry, change it as instructed, and follow any offloading or activity guidance we give you.Watch for changes — increased pain, redness spreading beyond the wound, drainage that smells, fever, or new bleeding. When in doubt, call the office. We'd rather hear from you than wait.
